Penn's heaping pile of bullshit

It was curious to recently contrast Bill Moyers' new show with Penn & Teller's "Bullshit", which happened to be on at the same time. While watching the former someone (rudely) changed the channel to the other. Now in fairness, Moyers' can be a little bit dry and is not "entertaining" in the conventional sense of the word. But the material and the message is always on target, thought-provoking, and informative. By contrast Mr. Penn is extremely loud and vulgar, which can on occasion be entertaining, but his defense of nuclear power as the simple solution to the energy problem was more than I could stomach. His is a simple world where big, loud guys impose blanket solutions and skewer those who would see things differently. I shudder at the idea of living in his world. In fact the impression I got was that he was payed off by the nuclear industry to spout this "bullshit". Or else you get the feeling that he can't be bothered with the plethora of inconvenient truths that a real examination of nuclear would reveal.
